Hoverfast & Hoverline
was founded in 2000 by Mr. Peder Silfverhjelm in order to establish the first commercial hovercraft operation in the Scandinavian countries.
Quite immediately, Mr. Silfverhjelm was joined by Mr. Philip von Mecklenburg (Financial Director) and Mr. Carl Borgh (Engineering) as joint partners.

In a early stage of Hoverline's evolution, Mr. Lennart Bylock (SwedeShip, Cloetta-Fazer, Lundbergs) and Mr. Clarence Dybeck (ICB Shipping, Acol, Stockholm Chartering) became members of the Advisory Board who guided the founders into the new Millennium.

In 2006 Hoverline joined forces with Viamare Invest AB who became a majority owner of the Hoverline Group and Swedens' No1 entrepreneur
Mr. Hans Mellström joined as the company's Chairman of the Board. In 2008 Mr. Janne Sjödén (President, Ericsson Network Technologies AB) joined the board of directors and has been appointed as the Chairman of the Board.

Hoverline has been developed as an international company with engagements all over the world.
In the mid 60's, Sweden became one of the pioneers in hovercraft operations, and Hoverline strive to maintain this heritage and to become the leading player in the years to come.

In 2009 the group have been re-structured into Hoverfast AB as the operating and new business company.
