10 years in the business.
10 years ago, Mr. Peder Silfverhjelm (CEO) and associates established the Hoverline/Hoverfast Group of Companies. In 2010, the Group celebrating its 10-years anniversary and has been expanded to be one of the World's well known hovercraft operators and experts. The next coming years will further cement the Group as the leading logistic partner for the offshore industry and cities offering high tech and high speed commuter services. HLI sets up refit base on Bahamas.
HLI is currently doing an extensive refit of two heavy lift ACV's at Freeport in Bahamas. For this purpose, we have established a workshop at Bradford Shipyard which, will host a complete rebuilding plant. The overall objective with the refit is to transfer two AP1-88 vessels for offshore missions. The complete refit is scheduled to be finalized in the end of November 2007.

New Base in Brazil ready.
For the offshore operation in Aracaju, Brazil, a new hovercraft terminal has been designed and built by Petrobras, Aracaju.
The terminal feature passenger lounge, safety briefing room, showers, toilets, offices and maintenance facilities. The Base is located in close proxy to the main road and the city of Aracaju.
The services will start as soon as Petrobras have received the environmental clearance by the Segip Environmental Authorities.

Purchase of two heavy lift ACVs.
Hoverline International have purchased two AP1-88 heavy lift ACVs from the Cuban Government. The two ACVs, "ACV Courier" and "ACV Siverko" are currently bound for Bahamas to be converted to Offshore Units.
The deal with the Cubans turned out to be successful and smooth. Hoverline's Director of Finances, Mr. Philip von Mecklenburg performed the deal in Havana and in London a couple of weeks ago.

ACV Eagle arrives on Brazilian soil.
Our first PAP1-300 ACV Eagle arrives on the Brazilian soil on the Atlantic coast. Eagle has been on route from Singapore to Brazil for three weeks on-board the heavy lift vessel BBC Russia (APC). The craft shall be put into offshore missions on the behalf of the Brazilian semi state owned company Petrobras. Eagle is special adapted for offshore operation and carrying the newly developed CTU device.

HLI signs a multi-million contract with Petrobras.
In November 2006, Hoverline International (HLI) and Hoverline Offshore Brazil (HOB) signed a 4+3 year operation contract, worth SEK 173 million, with the Brazilian semi-state owned energy corporation Petrobras (the third largest company in South America). Hoverline will serve Petrobras with hovercraft services in Aracaju (north-east of the Brazilian coast). The operation starts the first quarter of 2007. The contract is on 4 years with an extension of further 3 years.

Viamare Invest AB, increase its ownership in Hoverline AB from 34% to 51% of votes and capital. One of the founders of the company and the company's CEO, Mr. Peder Silfverhjelm will through his family trust hold 32% of votes and capital.
The engagement by Viamare will safeguard a long term development of Hoverline on the International market. Viamare is a major player within the Yachting Industry, Marine- and Airplane Communications, Marinas & Harbors, and within the Hotel market. HLI developing a new crew-transfer system for the offshore industry.
Hoverline International (HLI) has developed a new system for embarking and debarking personnel to and from offshore oil rigs. The system will be installed on ACV "Eagle". By applying the new Crew Transfer Unit (CTU) the transfer of offshore crew will be must safer and quicker than conventional systems.

Hoverline takes delivery of a heavy lift craft from Singapore.
Hoverline International AB have closed the deal with the State-owned shipyard ST-Marine in Singapore, for the purchase of the heavy lift hovercraft "Sea Quest". The PAP1-88/300 craft will undertake extensive re-building in Asia in order to match the requirements for a specialized operation in South America. The craft was built in Australia under license from Hoverworks in United Kingdom.

Environmental Clearance issued by The Indian Environmental Ministry.
The consortium, headed by SatyaGiri Waterways Ltd, got the environmental clearance by the Environmental Ministry to go ahead with the operation on Mumbai's waterways. The PWD Minister Mr. Deshmukh stated in The Economic Times that clearance is made for the hovercraft operations between Borivali and Nariman Point (including five different points along the new commuter service on the west coast of Mumbai). As a result of this statement the consortium, along with Hoverline AB, will keep the confirmed time table for the world's largest hovercraft investment so far. The operation involve 24 medium lift 100 pax hovercraft manufactured by ABS-Hovercraft Ltd.

Hoverline, in consortium, wins tender in Mumbai, India.
In collaboration with the Indian shipping company SatyaGiri Shipping Co Ltd. and ABS Hovercraft Ltd, the consortium won the public multi-million tender for the new sea commuting traffic in Mumbai (Bombay) district of Maharashtra, India.
Commuters in the western suburbs will soon have an option to crowded trains. In the next two years, Mumbaikars will be able to whiz across the sea from Borivali to Nariman Point in just 50 minutes in air-conditioned hovercraft.
